Jungle Jim v4 #27 - Steve Ditko / non-attributed Wally Wood art

Jungle Jim v4 #27
Jungle Jim v4 #27, 1969 Steve Ditko contributes three terrific stories, all of which are enjoyably drawn. Competently inked, different sources give different credits for each. Comic book guides credit the inks to one-time Wally Wood assistant, Wayne Howard. The Wallace Wood Treasury, however, credits Wood himself. At close inspection, details like the jungle foliage and water splashes seem to reinforce this. Howard's later works certainly resembled Wood, but without the finesse. I believe the stories are primarily Wood with possible assists by Howard. The cover, redrawn from an interior panel, appears to be neither Ditko or Wood.
