Batman v1 #265, 1975 - A movie actor turns into a villain when an accident on set permanently disfigures him. Perhaps due to the incompatibility of artistic styles, Bernie Wrightson does a largely disappointing job in this issue. Rich Buckler's pencils are crudely drawn within mediocre layouts. Wrightson is tentative throughout most of the pages, unsure where to assert himself. Frankly, the artwork could have benefited from more aggressive inking. The few scenes where he does emerge are page 4, panel 3 (see interior page below) and page 12 panel 1. This is 1 of 3 Batman issues by Wrightson.
