Superman v1 #235, 1971 - Superman fights the devil himself on this kinetic Neal Adams work. Multi-panel covers often lack the impact of a single scene, and this one is no exception. In relation to the masthead and text, the size of the figures seem to compete with each other. Adams would design far better covers for this title. Interior art in this bronze age comic by Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson.
