New Mutants v1 #72, 1989 - Demons run amok in New York's Times Square, two demonic suitors battle for the hand of Illyana (as Darkchilde) and the X-terminators join the New Mutants in stopping the forces in play. Al Williamson delivers his best work yet on the series, inking Bret Blevins' pencils with superb brushwork. The first three pages alone are exceptional in setting a darker tone for the characters. Kudos to the artists for their respective contributions. Cover by Blevins.
