Konga #8 - Steve Ditko art & cover

Steve Ditko
Konga v1 #8, 1962 - Traveling to different places south of the equator, Konga makes his way to Antarctica and collapses from the frigid temperatures. His fall unwittingly lands him in a lost prehistoric world. The quality of the story art varies from page to page, but overall Steve Ditko meets expectations. Some panels (see page below) are more powerfully rendered than others. The three page "Why He Survived" is similarly entertaining. As usual, the cover uses panels from the interiors. This is 7 of 14 Konga issues by Ditko.
