Police Trap #6 - Jack Kirby art & cover

Jack Kirby
Police Trap v1 #6, 1956 - In the final issue of this crime series, Jack Kirby not only contributes the cover, but five interior stories as well. All are drawn in the artist's distinctive style and approach, occasionally hampered by too much dialogue (see interior page below). "The Debt" and "Third Degree" are more visually arresting than the others, aided by their strong opening panels and better layouts. Mort Meskin's inks maintain the integrity of the pencils. Kirby's cover, showcasing a relatively new police method, is dependable in its rendering and composition. This is 6 of 6 Police Trap issues by Kirby.
