Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #162, 1954 - Donald Duck starts his job as a manager of a remote train station, just in time for a massive blizzard.
Carl Barks ratchets up the suspense when a train robber enters the picture. Darkened panels are uncommon for the funny animal genre, but the artist uses them quite effectively. Barks' terrific cover design is unrelated to the story. This story was later reprinted in
