Outlaws #2 |
Outlaws v1 #2, 1948 - In the days of the old west, "Gentleman Ben" Thompson terrorized the citizens of Dodge City with deadly force. Matt Baker just as easily outdraws his artistic peers in the same issue. Fine layouts and sequencing occur despite the short page count. Baker's talent is evident in not only his rendition of the outlaw, but the surrounding populace: barkeepers, saloon girls, gamblers, etc. Other artists in this issue include Ernie Schroeder, Ed Moritz and Leo Morey. Cover by Moritz. This is 1 of 1 Outlaws issues by Baker.
