Queen of the West Dale Evans v1 #5, 1955 - At the Double-A Ranch, a wealthy kid stays for the summer and runs afoul of a gang of thieves. Russ Manning's illustrative style looks less recognizable than previous issues. Some pages are better than others, suggesting another inker lending a hand. His page layouts are true-to-form, including an experimental use of logs as framing device (page 14).
