Time for Love v1 #13, 1969 - While on vacation with her father, Polly falls in love with an apparent beach bum. Steve Ditko uses a lighter touch in illustrating this story. Backgrounds, for the most part, are minimal (especially the opening panel). His layouts adhere to a typical six panel grid. At first glance, this seems to be a minimal effort, but the characters' faces and figures are generally well drawn. Ditko did few romance comics, but as in this example, his effort shows competence and craftsmanship. Other artists in this silver age romance comic include Charles Nicholas and Vince Alascia. This is 1 of 1 Time for Love issues by Ditko.
