Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #46 - Carl Barks art

Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #46, 1944 - Digging out an old camera, Donald Duck tries his hand at photo-journalism. His nephews find another one and compete for pictures to sell to the newspapers. Dangerous scenarios abound in this Carl Barks tale, from burning buildings to a zoo escapee. His most interesting panel shows Donald perched atop a flagpole, high above the city. Other characters featured in this issue include Mickey Mouse, Bucky Bug and Little Hiawatha.
