Space War v1 #6, 1960 - Based on a suggestion from a friend, a comic book artist/writer concocts a tale of blue aliens landing on Earth. The first panel seems a bit staid, an obvious placement of figures in the fore-, mid- and background. From there,
Steve Ditko's layouts improve, along with his distinctive drawings. The artist employs plenty of linework, increasing dimension on many of the character faces. Page 2 is the most visually interesting, a depiction of the main character’s studio filled with various objects and inspirations. This story was later reprinted in >
Ghost Manor v2 #77. Ditko’s cover is only a montage of interior panels. Other artists in this bronze silver golden age comic include Bill Molno, Rocco Mastroserio and Vince Alascia. This is 3 of 5
