Matt Baker's pages. Still, he manages to supply succinct drawings and varied layouts to maintain interest. His cover is even better, showing a gang of diamond thieves within a rectangular layout. The excellent figure drawing of the woman makes her the focus, although ironically, she doesn't appear in the story. Other artists in this golden age crime comic include Ralph Lane. This is 9 of 28
