Creepy #4 - Frank Frazetta cover, Al Williamson art

Frank Frazetta
Creepy v1 #4, 1965 - By the light of a harvest moon, a werewolf catches his latest victim by surprise. Several sources online identify the man as Count Dracula, though it's not evident. Frank Frazetta seems to suggest it via the fluttering bats and castle in the distance. His cover for Creepy #7 is much more apparent. A little less painterly than usual, this work has plenty of appeal. Al Williamson's work is relegated to the inside front cover, presenting haunting facts throughout history. Despite the small panels, there is no lack of effort or enthusiasm in its execution. Note the fine coloration and texture. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include Gray Morrow, Angelo Torres and Al McWilliams. This is 4 of 8 Creepy issues by Williamson and 4 of 15 Creepy issues by Frazetta.
