Somerset Holmes v1 #2, 1983 - Continuing the serial at the back of the book, adventurer Cliff Hanger and scientist Jill Masterson traverse the Amazon jungle in search of her father. Lovingly drawn and detailed, Al Williamson's artwork reveals an experienced hand. His renditions of South American flora seem well researched. Most impressive are the flash flooding scenes, moving quickly across pages 2-3. Other artists in this copper age crime comic include Brent Anderson. This is 2 of 6 Somerset Holmes issues by Williamson.
