Creepy #67 |
Creepy v1 #67, 1974 - Trolling the marsh at night, Uncle Creepy happens upon a pile of severed heads? Like most of his one page intros for this series, Bernie Wrightson is at his goriest. Superb design and drawing sets a high standard for the rest of the book. The black and purple color palette seems to darken the mood further. This bronze age horror magazine also includes artwork by Richard Corben, Jose Ortiz, Martín Salvador and Vincente Alcazar. Cover by Ken Kelly. This is 5 of 19
