Superboy (and the Legion of Super-Heroes) v1 #257, 1979 - Retired from the Legion, Bouncing Boy and Duo Damsel become colonists on a remote planet. When their powers are revealed, both must contend with the expectations of being former Legionnaires. Steve Ditko's style is recognizable this back-up tale, but too simplistic. The opening splash, showing a vista of the planet, is mostly squandered. Dan Adkins' inks unfortunately add little enhancement. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Joe Staton and David Hunt. Cover by Dick Giordano. This is 1 of 1 Superboy issues by Ditko.
