Savage Sword of Conan #51 - non-attributed Nestor Redondo art

Savage Sword of Conan #51
Savage Sword of Conan v1 #51, 1980 - Carrying the spoils of pillaging, Conan stands triumphantly on the deck of a sea vessel. Nestor Redondo's rendition looks more caveman than barbarian but otherwise delivers a splendid drawing for the inside front cover. Just as interesting as the two main figures, the artist takes great effort in depicting three fellow thieves. Each has his own distinctive face and armor. Other artists in this issue include Earl Norem, John Buscema and Tony DeZuniga. This is 5 of 10 Savage Sword of Conan issues by Redondo. /// Redondo gallery
