Brave and the Bold #53 |
Brave and the Bold v1 #53, 1964 - A miniature world begins to expand back to its original size, endangering the Earth. Can the Atom and the Flash devise a solution before it's too late? This sci-fi themed tale is one of
Alex Toth's longest of his career. Despite the length there are few large panels and only a single splash page. His drawings are neither inferior nor spectacular, just barely meeting expectations. Toth's style seems less suited for the super-hero genre, evidenced by this and other examples. This silver age story was later reprinted in
Action Comics #406 and
#407. This is 1 of 1
Brave and the Bold issues by
Toth.
