Marvel Preview v1 #21 presents Moon Knight, 1980 - Backing up the main Moon Knight feature, a Shroud solo story pits the hero against an eclectic criminal called the Crooked Man. Steve Ditko's graphic style works superbly in black and white, filling the pages with high contrasts and intense linework. The Shroud's flowing cape and powers of enveloping darkness are artfully drawn. Ditko's mastery of black and white (often overlooked and underestimated) is rarely matched by his peers. Other artists in this copper age magazine include Tom Palmer, Dan Green and Bill Sienkiewicz. Cover by Sienkiewicz.
