Batman v1 #320, 1980 - One of his few renditions of the Batman during the bronze age, Bernie Wrightson delivers this excellent cover. Fluid brushwork and textural effects raise the aesthetic standards. In the background, a dark hallway and dwarfish figure further the mystery. According to Wrightson's own initials (lower left), this artwork was actually drawn eight years earlier. Also, Overstreet erroneously lists this as a reprinted cover.
