Atom and Hawkman v1 #44, 1969 - Nearly entombed by his old nemesis the Ghost, Hawkman struggles to free himself. Joe Kubert delivers a splendid cover, rich in texture and detail. Note the suggestion of hieroglyphics on the sides of the coffin. Curiously, his tiny co-star and fellow Justice Leaguer is nowhere to be seen.
