Forbidden Worlds #76 - Al Williamson art

Forbidden Worlds #76
Forbidden Worlds v1 #76, 1959 - Two tribes of warring cavemen vie for dominance. One has the distinct advantage of an ancient voice that introduces them to new weapons. This tale of the prehistoric past is, sadly, inadequately drawn by Al Williamson. Many panels seem repetitive and lack visual interest (with the exception of an exotic lizard inserted on page 3 panel 1). Even the opening panel, typically the largest in these types of stores, is crowded and diminished by too much text. Other artists in this golden age science fiction comic include Ogden Whitney, Jon Diehl and Al Wenzel. This is 7 of 8 Forbidden Worlds issues by Williamson. /// Williamson gallery
