Weird Fantasy v2 #20 - Al Williamson / Frank Frazetta art

Weird Fantasy v2 #20, 1953 - Interestingly, the feature story is told from the perspective of a rocket ship in the distant future. This Ray Bradbury adaptation is delicately penciled by Al Williamson and inked by Frank Frazetta. Halftones are used abundantly throughout (see interior page below), increasing depth in most instances. The opening panel is the most memorable scene, partly due to the larger size. While an equal contributor, Frazetta's style is most obvious on page 6. Other artists in this issue include Will Elder, Al Feldstein, Jack Kamen, Joe Orlando and John Severin. This is number 2 of 3 Weird Fantasy issues with Frazetta art and/or covers and number 7 of 8 Weird Fantasy issues with Williamson art and/or covers.
