All Star Comics v2 #61 - Wally Wood art

All Star Comics v2 #61 featuring the Justice Society of America and Super Squad, 1975 - After defeating several JSAers, the villainous Vulcan takes on their most powerful members: Green Lantern and Dr. Fate. Keith Giffen's pacing and layouts heighten visual interest, but it's Wally Wood's inking that add polish and definition. His contribution is most evident in the many close-ups of characters' faces. Other artists in this issue include Ernie Chua (cover). This is number 4 of 8 All Star Comics issues with Wood art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Wood or All-Star Comics issues. See also this blog's Wally Wood checklist.
