Alarming Adventures #3 - non-attributed Al Williamson art

Alarming Adventures #3
Alarming Adventures v1 #3, 1962 - The discovery of an unusual gold-spotted fish prompts an expedition to its source: an underwater cavern on a remote island. Uncredited by comic book guides, Al Williamson delivers a capable effort. The main scientist's face looks suspiciously repetitious, as if retraced to save time. That aside, spacious layouts and sensitive rendering make this story the highlight of the issue. This story was later reprinted in Double-Dare Adventures #2. Other artists in this silver age comic include Bernard Baily, Carl Burgos and Dick Ayers. Cover by John Severin. This is 3 of 3 Alarming Adventures by Williamson.
