Silver Surfer #6 - Frank Brunner art

Silver Surfer v1 #6, 1969 - Perhaps his earliest comic book work, Frank Brunner inks a back-up tale unrelated to the Silver Surfer feature. An alien race invades Earth by taking the form of the most innocuous of objects. Brunner's efforts quite frankly lack polish and distinctiveness. Thankfully, his style would mature quickly enough to contribute to the upcoming bronze age. Other artists in this issue include John Buscema and Sal Buscema. This is number 1 of 1 Silver Surfer issues with Brunner art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Brunner or Silver Surfer issues. See also this blog's Brunner checklist or Top 10 Brunner comics.
