Savage Tales v1 Annual #1 featuring Ka-Zar, 1973 - Full of earlier Ka-Zar reprints, this issue include his origin story from Astonishing Tales #11 (art by Gil Kane). Also notable are three Barry Smith tales from Astonishing Tales #3, #4 and #5. As usual, these black and white reproductions pale compared to the originals. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Gray Morrow and Steve Gan. All interiors are in black and white. Published by Marvel under the Curtis imprint.
