Daredevil #138 |
Daredevil v1 #138, 1976 - Tracking down Karen Page and her captor Death's Head, Daredevil and the Ghost Rider arrive coincidentally at the same time.
John Byrne's pencils are engaging without overwhelming the storytelling. His work is enhanced by clear dynamic layouts, particular the Ghost Rider scenes (see interior page below). Jim's Mooney's inking style somewhat clashes, asserting itself on mostly non-superhero characters. Though an early effort, Byrne shows much potential. This bronze age story continues in
Ghost Rider #20. This is 1 of 5
Daredevil issues by
Byrne.
