Korak Son of Tarzan #8 - Russ Manning art

Korak Son of Tarzan v1 #8, 1965 - After rescuing three Peace Corps workers, Korak and his friends discover a hidden kingdom with a prehistoric monster. In his second full-length story, Russ Manning delivers some of his most visually interesting pages yet. Much of the setting occurs in the sultan's palace, where decorative patterns and motifs are abundant. These relatively peaceful scenes are countered by the ferocious attack of the mosasaur (mistakenly referred to as a "plesiosaur" in the story). Manning's artwork toggles between the two with relative ease. This is number 8 of 12 Korak issues with Manning art and/or covers.
