The Unseen #13 - non-attributed Alex Toth art

The Unseen v1 #13, 1954 - One of Alex Toth's shortest tales, a mine owner and his son explore a tunnel avoided by fearful miners. The drawings have an efficiency and clarity not often accomplished within so few pages. Toth reveals only the eye of the underground creature, challenging readers to imagine the rest. Some comic guides fail to give Toth his due credit on the issue. This is number 4 of 4 The Unseen issues with Toth art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Toth or Unseen issues.
