The Unseen #13 - non-attributed Alex Toth art

The Unseen #13

The Unseen v1 #13, 1954 - One of Alex Toth's shortest tales, a mine owner and his son explore a tunnel avoided by fearful miners. The drawings have an efficiency and clarity not often accomplished within so few pages. Toth reveals only the eye of the underground creature, challenging readers to imagine the rest. Some comic guides fail to give Toth his due credit on the issue. Other artists in this golden age horror comic include Rocke Mastroserio, Mike Roy, Mike Sekowsky, Gene Fawcette and John Celardo. This is 4 of 4 Unseen issues by Toth.
