In this origin story, Richard Benson's family is murdered, driving him to fight crime under a new persona. The interiors are drawn by Al McWilliams. Joe Kubert supplies the adventurous cover, showcasing the hero with his trademark weapons (named Mike and Ike). Kubert is usually at his best on adventure and war titles, but this one falls a tad short.
