Gunsmoke v2 #9, 1958 - Al Williamson draws his second back-up feature for the series. This chronicle of western-era hunting dogs is drawn capably and straightforwardly. While less dynamic than most of his westerns, Williamson uses an approach that informs rather than excites. Interestingly, his inking style is tighter and more controlled than previous works.
