Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge v1 #13, 1956 - When a series of earthquakes rock the city, Donald and the gang find the source coming from deep underground. They discover the culprits to be round, rock-like beings called Terrys and Fermies (after Terra Firma). Carl Barks illustrates the vast underground caverns with great depth and scale. His drawings culminate in a dramatic scene where the creatures cause their biggest earthquake yet (page 22). This story was later reprinted in Uncle Scrooge #109. A brief Gyro Gearloose tale contains Barks' only rendition of Mickey Mouse's nephews. This is 13 of 70 Uncle Scrooge issues by Barks. /// unpublished page
