Frontline Combat #4 - Wally Wood art

Frontline Combat v1 #4, 1952 - Featured in this issue is the military fiasco known as the "Charge of the Light Brigade". Wally Wood meets and exceeds the task of chronicling the tragic event. Gallantly uniformed horsemen and rocky landscapes occupy the majority of pages, accompanied by Lord Alfred Tennyson's poem of the same name. Other artists in this issue include Jack Davis, John Severin and Harvey Kutzman (cover). This is number 4 of 13 Frontline Combat issues with Wood art and/or covers.
