House of Mystery v1 #253, 1977 - A light emanates from a baby's face as his babysitter recoils in horror. Neal Adams' cover cleverly lets the reader imagine the demon baby's appearance rather than his own interpretation. Alex Nino's story of the same name only faintly resembles the characters, but his artwork is no less compelling. Especially clever is the opening panel's depiction of the sitter's arrival. Nino curves and distorts the perspective for a unnerving effect. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Jack Abel, Tony Dezuniga, Klaus Janson, Romeo Tanghal, Bill Draut, Bob Smith and Gil Kane.
