Superman and the Demon meet this mystical threat head on. Kubert's pages are drawn with an uncommon sophistication often reserved for other genres. Scenes such as the interior of a natural history museum (pages 2-3), the unveiled statue (see interior page below) and druid's awakening (page 6) are just a few of the commanding images within the story.
