Warp v1 #4, 1983 - Frank Brunner's layouts improve marginally from previous issues. Unfortunately, this is offset by the heavy-handed inking of Bruce Patterson. Thicker stroke widths give the artwork an unwanted coarseness. Brunner includes two splash pages in this tale. The first (page 10) is more compelling than the second, worthy enough to have served as an alternate cover. This is number 4 of 9 Warp issues with Brunner art and/or covers.
