Tarzan of the Apes v1 #175, 1968 - After a battle between ant-man armies, Tarzan finds himself is shrunk to their miniature size. Russ Manning illustrates yet another exotic adventure with great skill and enthusiasm. The layouts are quickly paced and confidently designed. Even Manning's underground scenes seem claustrophobic (see interior page below). This issue concludes the adaption of Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan and the Ant Men. Other artists in this silver age adventure comic include Jesse Marsh. This is number 131 of 133 Tarzan issues by Manning.
