Coo Coo Comics #35 |
Coo Coo Comics v1 #35, 1947 - Two of the most popular characters in the series, Supermouse and Dodger, are drawn with a noticeable spontaneity.
Frank Frazetta is tasked with illustrations for three text stories. While "The Lonely Turtle" and "A Word to the Wise" are adeptly drawn (see interior page below), "Kitty on the Keys" lacks the usual shading and detail. Were it not for the signature initials on the piano, the attribution to Frazetta would have been difficult. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury. This is 2 of 17
