Tales of the Mysterious Traveler #9
Tales of the Mysterious Traveler v1 #9, 1958 - In two of Steve Ditko's three stories, a ventriloquist goes out on his own without his wooden partner and a hospital orderly cures a patient from another dimension. In both, less detailed and minimally drawn panels suggest a lack of effort. By contrast, the tale of a Balkan king's discovery of an identical twin shows a high level of craft. Especially appealing is Ditko's depictions of old European military uniforms. "The Imperial Double" was later reprinted in Haunted #49. This is 8 of 11 Tales of the Mysterious Traveler issues by Ditko.
