Tarzan of the Apes #166 - Russ Manning art


Tarzan of the Apes v1 #166, 1967 - Searching for Jane, Tarzan enters the uncharted land of Pal-Ul-Don and befriends two men with monkey-like tails. In addition to these strange residents Russ Manning ably draws several large yet colorful prehistoric creatures. This issue begins an adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan the Terrible. Other artists in this issue include Jesse Marsh, Nat Edson and Tom Massey. This is number 125 of 132 Tarzan issues with Manning art and/or covers (not including reprints).
