Twilight Zone v2 #50, 1973 - Walt Simonson's early work for Gold Key, such as this example, are not widely known. His drawings lack polish but retains a distinctiveness of approach. Line is emphasized over light and shadow, creating a flatter picture plane. While not particularly exciting in this case, Simonson's artwork remains nonetheless mildly engaging. This story was later reprinted in Twilight Zone #83. Other artists in this bronze age horror comic include Frank Bolle, Adolpho Buylla, Joe Certa and Luis Dominguez. Painted cover by George Wilson. This is 1 of 3 Twilight Zone issues by Simonson.
