Conan the Barbarian #45 - Neal Adams art & cover

Neal Adams
Conan the Barbarian v1 #45, 1974 - Conan befriends a young minstrel, helping him find answers to his dark and obscure past. One of several "Crusty Bunkers" providing the inks, Neal Adams seems less involved than his efforts on the previous issue. His delicate linework appears on the opening splash and the renditions of Conan throughout the story. Otherwise the bulk of the work falls on Dick Giordano and others. Adams' inks on Gil Kane's cover is far more compelling and well crafted. This is number 3 of 4 Conan the Barbarian issues with Adams art and/or covers (not including reprints).
