Wyatt Earp #12 - Al Williamson art

Wyatt Earp v1 #12, 1957 - While passing through town, a cowboy finds himself at gunpoint with only a handful of bullets. This enticing Al Williamson tale is not without its faults. The antagonist's gun is awkwardly drawn on page 3 panel 6 and the lighting is off on the opening panel (a figure is lit from the front yet a lantern shines behind him). Still, Williamson's pencils combined with Ralph Mayo's smooth inks is more impressive than most. Other artists in this issue includes Norman Maurer and Joe Maneely (cover). This is number 3 of 4 Wyatt Earp issues with Williamson art and/or covers (not including reprints).
