Iron Fist v1 #12, 1977 - With Misty Knight held hostage, Iron Fist is forced to infiltrate the Avengers mansion. While seeking Thor, the kung-fu hero instead draws the ire of Captain America. Reliably drawn by
John Byrne, the pencils are noticeably diminished by Dan Adkins' inks. Some panels convey a flatter picture plane than usual due to lack of detail. The figures are sometimes stiffly rendered, although nicely foreshortened. Byrne's layouts remain intact, positively contributing to the overall storytelling. This issue also includes cover artwork by Dave Cockrum and Frank Giacoia. This is 12 of 15
