Wally Wood's inks improve upon the frenetic and convoluted cover by Larry Lieber. Inside, Wood's collaboration with
Steve Ditko is a great example of two artists with different yet compatible styles. Both seem equally represented on every page, resulting in some terrific artwork. Their opening splash (see interior page shown below) is dynamically composed, introducing the title character with boldness and excitement. Written by Archie Goodwin, this is 1 of 4
