Twilight Zone #54 - Walt Simonson art

Twilight Zone v1 #54, 1974 - In the distant future, a convicted criminal tries to escape his cozy, comfortable solitary prison. Walt Simonson's pages are competently drawn and slightly roughened (just enough to add interest). His fine linework seems especially suited for robotic and machine-like characters. Simonson's eclectic style emerges even in this relatively early effort. Other artists in this issue include Luis Domingez, John Celardo and Jack Sparling. This is number 2 of 3 Twilight Zone issues with Simonson art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Simonson or Twilight Zone issues. See also this blog's Walt Simonson checklist.
