Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #267 - Carl Barks art

Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #267
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #267, 1962 - Visiting a woodsy relative on a whim, Donald Duck soon finds himself driving hundreds of newly cut logs down river. The journey is fraught with perils, both natural and man-made. Carl Barks' artwork is solidly executed and informative, teaching readers a little about the logging profession and transport. This story was later reprinted in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #471. Other features in this issue include Gyro Gearloose, Mickey Mouse and the Big Bad Wolf. Other artists in this silver age comic include Paul Murry. This is 227 of 280 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues by Barks.
