Stalker #2 - Steve Ditko / Wally Wood art & cover

Stalker v1 #2 dc bronze age comic book cover art by Steve Ditko, Wally Wood
Steve Ditko / Wally Wood
Stalker v1 #2, 1975 - The swordsman without a soul continues his quest, arriving at the literal edge of the world. Steve Ditko and Wally Wood continue their collaboration on the series, drawing imaginative fantasy scenes and creatures. Their title page splash is more straightforward than usual, but the artwork as a whole meets expectations. Wood's inks mostly enhances the female characters, including a mild bondage/torture scene (see interior page below). This is number 2 of 4 Stalker issues with Ditko art and/or covers and number 2 of 4 Stalker issues with Wood art and/or covers.

  1. Wood and Ditko/Ditko and Wood -- no matter how you put it, a great artist's team-up. A swell comic, too!
